Senior Learning Architect
  • Develop training programs by leveraging adult learning theories such as: Cognitive Load, Forgetting Curve, Mayer's Principles of Multimedia, Retrieve Practice, etc., to deliver a higher level of retention and proficiency upon the learner’s completion of the program.

  • Lead an advisory panel of Subject Matter Experts to completely overhaul and delivery and entirely new Management Leadership Training Program.

  • Leverage Articulate Storyline, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and even 360° images to design and deliver a fully immersive eLearning course.

  • Design and develop other engaging eLearning courses such as: how-to instructional courses, courses that simulate the environment a learner will work in, a Jeopardy-style game show used on stage at a the national convention, and more.

  • Design instructor-led training classes, that include the development of the PowerPoint, leader’s guide, and materials for the participants. I also develop an adaptation of the classes, so they can be delivered virtually.

  • Create training documentation such as guides, job aids, and other on the job reference materials.

Board Member – Education Strategist

The Council of Hotel and Restaurant Trainers (CHART) is a non-profit association of hospitality training and development and human resources professionals, with over five hundred members.

  • Oversee a committee of SMEs to update current content and produce new content for our four competency tracks.

  • Work with the association management and the Board of Directors to create and update CHART’s educational platform based on hospitality training trends.

  • Lead and develop nearly forty Master Facilitators, along with communicating expectations and providing the most current workshop materials.

  • Oversee the selection of speakers and content for two national conferences annually.

  • Develop and deliver an annual educational strategy for competency tracks, monthly webinars, two national conferences, website content, and other opportunities to provide our members consistent training and development.

The Center for Work Ethic Development                                  

  • Provided instructional design and eLearning development services using Articulate Storyline 360 and Adobe Creative Cloud applications to convert instructor-led training curriculum into ten eLearning courses.

  • The objective of this project was to quickly pivot a key instructor-led product to interactive online delivery in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • Designed comprehensive, results-driven learning curricula using the ADDIE or SAM instructional design model and applying adult learning theories to maximize learner retention.
